Objective
National CineMedia’s network contains the top three theatre circuits in the U.S.: AMC, Regal, and Cinemark. They looked to DMI Music & Media Networks to not only strengthen their brand, but to generate revenue as well.

Solution
DMI Music & Media Networks first used their extensive ties to major and boutique record labels to create CinemaSounds, a pre-show audio program that introduces theatregoers to top-tier as well as up-and-coming talent.  On-screen slides further connect the audience to the music and create additional impressions while providing another layer of entertainment.

Leveraging the music programming designed for National CineMedia’s theatre lobbies, DMI Music & Media Networks created a music-video show to air in theatre common areas that would generate another opportunity for audiences to connect with the music and the artists.

Results
Yet another win-win-win situation: National CineMedia generated revenue from label sponsorships; partner record labels were able to get their music in front of a wide audience without broadcast network radio play; and the theatre patrons received bonus entertainment—maybe even finding a new favorite band in the process.
